When Sudha Murty admitted that she is a fan of Rakshit Shetty

The author and philantropist had spoken about her love for cinema
Author and philantropist Sudha Murty is known for her love for books and simple cuisines. But, a little known fact is that she is also a big fan of

Kannada cinema

. She watches and meets actors and film teams that she adores and enjoys often and tells them how much she appreciated them in person. We had previously caught up with her for a candid freewheeling chat where she had admitted to her love for cinema. Here's revisiting that interview.

"I regularly watch

Kannada

and all other movies. I watched Yogaraj Bhat's

Dana Kayonu

and I enjoyed the message and story. I also watched

Idolle Ramayana

by Prakash Raj, it was an excellent movie. I also watched his Oggarane and Naanu Nanna Kanasu, both were equally good. I love watching films in the theatres. If I am travelling and I am out for a week or two, most of the films are out of the theatres. I personally am fond of Rakshit Shetty as an actor among the new lot. I loved his Simpallag Ond Love Story. The writing and the dialogues were very good. The music and lyrics were good. I enjoyed

Thithi

and Century Gowda. I do not like watching movies at home. I hate it when someone disturbs me right in between a suspense-filled scene. I'd rather not be disturbed in the theatre. But I make sure to read a book or watch a film daily, as much as possible," she had confessed back then in an interview.
