What will be Darshan's next film after the release of Roberrt?

One of the most bankable stars in Kannada cinema is Darshan Thoogudeepa. The Challenging Star is often known by the moniker Box Office Sultan as he draws in good audience for the opening weekends of his film, which ensures good collections for his filmmakers. The actor will be seen in Roberrt, which is his second collaboration with director Tharun Sudhir after an extended cameo in Chowka. The film is set to hit the screens in March this year, after being delayed because of the pandemic. The film was originally scheduled to release last April, but was delayed because of the Covid pandemic, which led to cinema halls being shut.Now, Roberrt is slated to be the second big Kannada release post the pandemic, after Pogaru. There are a lot of hopes on the film doing well to revive the fortunes of the film industry, which has been shut for a long time. While the release of Roberrt is fixed, the star has not yet resumed shooting for any new film. He was shooting for Rajaveera Madakari Nayaka prior to the onset of the pandemic. The film is yet to resume as it is a historical and requires to be shot at actual sites with a lot of cast and crew. Filmmaker SV Rajendra Singh Babu, who is directing this film, is yet to announce when they will resume shooting for the film.Darshan is also slated to shoot for a film being helmed by his Taarak filmmaker Milana Prakash. This is a political thriller and it was slated to take off sometime last year originally. He also has the Sindhoora Lakshmana biopic that will see him reunite with the Roberrt team of Tharun and Umapathy S Gowda. Will the Milana Prakash film be the next one that he embarks on or will it be the Madakari Nayaka biopic is to be seen. There are rumours that he also has a couple of other scripts that have been okayed by him. It will be interesting to see what will be the next film that Darshan takes on.
