Watch out for a slew of surprises in Bharaate
There is a lot of expectation on this week’s Bharaate. It is Sriimurali’s first release since Mufti, and marks his debut collaboration with director Chethan Kumar, known for masala commercial flicks like Bahaddur and Bharjari. The film, produced by Sri Jagadguru Movies, is expected to hit around 300 halls across the state. Chethan says that Bharaate is an entertainer that will appeal to all audiences.

“There is drama, emotion, romance, and action, each of which is essential to take the narrative forward. Considering the scale of the film, we have 47 actors onboard, whose presence adds gravitas to the story, even if they have only a scene or two,” says Chethan. Bharaate has Sriimurali in the role of a do-gooder, whose priority is not only his family, but society at large. “There are segments of the story that have been revealed to audiences with the trailers and songs, but there are multiple surprise elements, including the presence of a few veteran actors, which will strike a chord with viewers,” he adds.
