Vir Das gives a lesson on punctuality

On Friday night, as Vir Das regaled the audience when he staged his comedy show Battle Of Da Sexes, there was also a small lesson on punctuality that he taught the Bengalurean audience. When the crowd continued to enter later than usual even after the interval, he entered on time with his guitar and sang a song for them.
Talking to each of the member who entered late, he addressed them based on their looks or attire and jokingly asked them if they enjoyed their samosas, refreshments and gossip sessions with impromptu lyrics.While those that were seated in the auditorium already enjoyed the song with a hearty laugh, the latecomers surely were embarrassed. Let’s hope the laid-back crowds of Chowdiah Memorial Hall learn from this little lesson.
