S hoot for the yet-to-be-titled Kannada film starring Ramesh Aravind and Ganesh is underway in Mysuru. We recently spotted this bright red double decker being used at the Mysore University campus. “The story is probably set in the ’70s when double deckers were a common sight in Bengaluru and Mysuru. Ganesh was part of this particular scene,” says a source who was on the set during the shoot. While double deckers do not ply on the streets anymore, this particular bus was apparently brought in from the Payana Museum located in Mysuru. “The museum is run by Virendra Hegde who is known to be a close friend of Ramesh Aravind. As a one-off exemption, the bus was driven to the location for a couple of shots. It has been returned to the museum already,” adds a source.
