Actor Vinay Rajkumar is all set to work on his first project since the onset of the pandemic. He will be the lead in a film titled
Andondittu Kaala
, that will be helmed by first time filmmaker
Keerthi, and is slated to take off towards the middle of this month. The film has
Aditi Prabhudeva as the female lead.
"It was Abhishek Kasaragod, the cinematographer of my film
Ananthu Versus Nusrath
, who brought forth this lead and made me meet Keerthi. I was impressed by the story. This film traces the life story of a director and is all about direction. The story is fictitious and is not based on anything or anyone in the industry," reveals Vinay.
Vinay further says that he is looking forward to being on the set. "We begin shooting around February 15. I am thrilled at the idea of being back with a film team and beginning work on a set. It has been a year or so and this will be my first since the onset of the pandemic. Though, I must add that while there is that eagerness to be on a set, I did enjoy the little break that we got," says the actor.
Vinay says that he's currently doing a reading with his co-actors and understanding the script and his character, before the team begins shoot.
