Professional powerlifter-turned-actor Raghu Hondadakeri recently shot for the Mohanlal-starrer pan-India film Vrushabha, directed by Nanda Kishore.
The actor who also has KD, Mudhol and Burma in the pipeline, has largely essayed the role of baddies so far, but he says he doesn’t feel typecast. “My body language and mannerisms differ from one film to another,” he says. “The deadlier a villain is, the more shrewd and powerful the protagonist gets. Negative characters have a huge say on the narrative of a film. Also, playing the villain helps me work with actors across the country without having any barriers,” Raghu adds.

As a VFX artist, Raghu has been working in the industry for over a decade. But, it’s only in the last two years that he has found his place in front of the cameras. “I have done nine films till now. I feel my heart is in the entertainment industry and the roles I am getting have kept me going,” he signs off.
