Throughout the interview, the journalist is seen pronouncing the word ‘Kannad’ instead of ‘Kannada’ and the ‘Vikrant Rona’ star took a minute to interrupt in between and corrected her on how to pronounce ‘Kannada’ properly. Kiccha Sudeep further added that just like the word ‘Hindi’ cannot be changed to ‘Hind’, ‘Kannada’ cannot be pronounced as ‘Kannad’.

When the journalist said that she has only started studying the Kannada language, Kiccha Sudeep had his befitting reply by saying that instead of studying the entire language it would be appropriate if she knew the title of the language properly. Kiccha also reportedly said, “You pronounce the title of Telugu and Tamil properly, but when it came to Kannada, you said Kannad.”

Meanwhile, it was recently that Kiccha Sudeep reportedly made a funny joke on the reporter’s question on whether he had met the Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn after the Hindi as the National language controversy. Kiccha Sudeep gave a quirky reply by saying that he will reach out to Ajay Devgn on a day when he needs Kajol’s date for a film. Now the actor has yet again made it to the spotlight by correcting a journalist on how to pronounce the word ‘Kannada’ properly.

On the other hand, Kiccha Sudeep’s ‘Vikrant Rona’ has proved to be the next big thing from the Kannada film industry after the Yash starrer ‘KGF: Chapter 2’. Helmed by the director Anup Bhandari, ‘Vikrant Rona’ also featured the actors Neetha Ashok, Anup Bhandari and Jacqueline Fernandez in significant roles.
