Kiccha Sudeep’s recently released film ‘Vikrant Rona’ is said to be the next big thing that has happened in the Kannada film industry after the successful hit of the Yash starrer ‘KGF’. Now according to the reports, Kiccha Sudeep opened up about the plans for a sequel to the adventure fantasy film, to online news media.

About the sequel, Kiccha Sudeep reportedly said that he doesn’t want to try a sequel just for the sake of it or for the sole purpose of generating money from the audience. Kiccha reportedly said that he will be only ready to do a sequel if the director Anup Bhandari comes up with an extraordinary idea that excites him.

‘Vikrant Rona’ actor also reportedly said that in order to make a franchise the audience should like the first part of the movie and also the film should have some exciting elements that make the viewer excited for its second part. He also said that if a second part of the movie is planned before the first part is even released then what excites him to do the sequel should definitely be the plot that the makers have for the second installment.

Meanwhile, ‘Vikrant Rona’ hit the big screens on July 28 and was well received with positive feedback from the audience. The film also reportedly earned Rs 35 crores on its opening day and it proved to be another big hit after ‘KGF’ from the Kannada film industry.
‘Vikrant Rona’ is a fantasy thriller directed by Anup Bhandari and the film features the actors Kiccha Sudeep, Nirup Bhandari, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Neetha Ashok essaying lead roles in the film.
