Vijay Suriya turns host for a new comedy show

Television heartthrob and film actor Vijay Suriya of

Agni Sakshi

fame is all set to don a new hat. This time, he turns host for a comedy show,

Comedy Talkies

, which will be aired on prime time during weekends. “This is the first time that I am trying my hand at hosting and I am excited. We began shooting for the show on Sunday and it goes on air in November. The interesting part is that this comes on air the same time as Agni Sakshi does, but on weekends. So, the audience can now see Siddharth from Agni Sakshi on the weekdays, but also get a chance to know Vijay Suriya, the person, on weekends,” he quips.
Vijay, who is also shooting for two feature films Kaddu Mucchi and Lucknow To Bangalore, sheds further light on the show, saying, “This comedy show will have Srujan Lokesh and Rachita Ram as the two permanent judges. The other judge will be a different guest on each show. I’m keen to see how this new avatar of mine will be perceived by the audience.”
