Vijay Raghavendra turns writer for his next film

Ever since he resumed work after the lockdown break, actor Vijay Raghavendra has been on a mission - to be busy all the time. In the time since, he has been juggling between different film commitments like Seetharam Benoy, 3BHK,

and Savitri, while also serving as judge on the TV show

. We now hear that he has signed up for a new, as-yet-untitled psychological thriller being directed by Suhas Krishna, who had previously made P5. The muhurtha of the film was held at a temple recently on the occasion of Ugadi.

Vijay says, “I play a free-spirited writer who is very unconventional and aspires to bring a change in society. There are certain things that have affected his life, which becomes motivation for his writing. The film is being made by a new team that has brought in a new dimension to the script.”

The actor will also star in the Kannada version of th Malayalam film

Anjaam Pathiraa

. “The project will take off in May. I am likely to essay the role of Kunchacko Boban who is a psychologist in the movie. I am looking forward to working in this film as it has got rave reviews. This year I have as many as six films in the pipeline. I hope to have at least two releases, as 2020 was a dry year because of the pandemic and lockdown” he sums up.
