Vetrimaaran to direct Puneeth Rajkumar?

Puneeth Rajkumar is probably one of the only Kannada star among his peers who has worked with maximum Tamil and Telugu directors in Kannada films. Be it his debut with Puri Jagannath or further films that were helmed by Saravanan, Jayanth C Paranjee or Samuthirakani, his films with these directors have been memorable. He also has projects announced alongside makers like Gautham Menon. And adding to this stellar list of filmmakers who he has worked with will be National Award winning director from Tamil, Vetrimaaran.
Reports suggest that Puneeth might be working with Vetrimaaran in an upcoming film that is slated to take off in the second half of this year and it will be produced by Rockline Venkatesh. If this project does happen, it will be a coup indeed.
