Vedhicka roped in for Darshan's next

Just a couple of days ago, we told you that Karthika Nair will be making her debut in Kannada with the Brindavanam remake in Kannada. The film, which stars Darshan in the lead, will now have Vedhicka as the other lead in the film.
Confirming the news, Vedhicka tells us, 'I am making my comeback to Kannada films; I have signed the Brindavanam remake. I simply loved the original and I couldn't have a better film to return to Sandalwood.I will be playing the role that was originally essayed by Samantha in the Telugu version.'
Vedhicka was previously seen in the film Sangama, where she was paired opposite Ganesh. 'I am a Kannadiga, so I have wanted to do more Kannada films. Unfortunately, I was busy with Tamil and Telugu films. I recently finished Paradesi in Tamil with Bala sir. I feel this is a good signing, since this Kannada film is opposite Darshan, one of the biggest names here. It is directed by K Maadesh, who has a good track record,' she says.
