Vasuki Vaibhav will sing in Naresh and Pavithra Lokesh’s upcoming flick

Music composer and singer Vasuki Vaibhav was in Hyderabad recently and it was to record a number for Naresh Babu and Pavithra Lokesh’s upcoming flick Matthe Maduve. The film which is titled Malli Pelli in Telugu, stars the real-life couple as husband and wife on screen, too. “And recently, I got a call from lyricist Varadaraj who approached me for the song. And I flew to Hyderabad to record for the same. Before I could record for the song, Varadaraj took me to meet Naresh sir,” says Vasuki. Having interacted with him for a while, Vasuki shares Naresh is an extremely humble man. “Naresh sir shared how he has watched many Kannada films earlier and how they had influenced him. He told me how much he loved the language. Naresh sir also tried speaking some lines in Kannada. What made me really happy though was when he mentioned that he was excited to listen to the song in my voice,” states Vasuki. Matte Maduve/Malli Pelli has been directed by MS Raju and also stars Jayasudha and Sarath Kumar. Some of the episodes that have transpired in the couple’s real life have also been inspiration for a couple of scenes in the film, it is said. Meanwhile, while Vasuki was recording for the song, another music director who was also in the same studio approached Vasuki having been impressed by his voice. “He was making a music album and wanted me to sing for that too. So I also completed that assignment and returned home,” he sums up.
