Actor Vasishta N Simha has signed two new projects, one of which, Maryadastha, is a tribute to late actor Vajramuni, a famous yesteryear villain.
In Maryadastha, directed by Mahesh Krishna, Vasishta plays the president of the Vajramuni Fans association. “It is a complete entertainment package, which follows the about the journey of a youngster who is a die-hard fan of Vajramuni.

Personally, I am a fan of Vajramuni, so I could relate to the role," he says.
The actor's other new signing is Pantha. “The film deals with betting. It is a drama that touches upon a specific ideology. It also has a suspense element that will keep audiences on the edge of the seat.” Vasishta, who is currently recuperating from a leg injury, will soon resume shooting for Talwar Pete. “I sustained an injury while performing an action sequence, which stalled the shoot of Talwar Pete. I will start shooting for it as soon as I have recovered completely. Maryadastha will commence in December,” he adds.
