Sandalwood fans have loved the camaraderie shared by Daali and Chitte in the film
Tagaru and have been hoping that
Dhananjaya and Vasishta N Simha reunite on screen again. The two actors share an equally good bond off screen too and they will finally be seen together in
Head Bush, the MP Jayaraj biopic being frontlined by Dhananjaya and directed by Shoonya.
Confirming the news, Vasishta tells us, "I had all the right reasons to be a part of this film, right from the cast and crew, as well as the team behind it.
People have wanted the Daali and Chitte combination on screen again and this was the right script in that sense. This was why I readily agreed to be a part of this film."
Apparently, Vasishta has already shot for a bit of his portions in this film, we hear from sources. The film, which is being overseen by Agni Sridhar, is slated to be made on a large scale and is touted to release in multiple parts. The film team is looking at a big ensemble cast. The team had recently announced that
Payal Rajput is the leading lady, while Loose Maada Yogi is also playing a pivotal role in the film.
Given that the last film on the underworld that had this backdrop was KM Chaitanya's
Aa Dinagalu, which was also based on Agni Sridhar's writings, there are a lot of expectations from this film.
