Actress Vainidhi Jagdish, who made her debut with
Yaanaa
, won the hearts of cinephiles recently, with her performance in the short film
Oh Fish!
. The actress has now begun shooting for her next film,
Rohith Padaki
's
Ratnan Prapancha
.
Talking about the signing, Vainidhi says, "I am so happy to be a part of this team and starting this year with a good film. We had a workshop which was amazing. The whole team sat together and practiced our lines and the dialect. This set the tone for what to expect from the film's team for me."
As for her character, Vainidhi reveals, "I play a character called Benni. I had to literally become a north Karnataka hudugi. We are shooting for around a fortnight. I am paired opposite Pramod and he is such a good actor. It is nice to work with so many talented individuals in one team."
Vainidhi, meanwhile, says that she also has another film,
Bengalur Boys
, where she plays one of the leads. "We have shot some portions and we will resume shooting shortly," she says, adding that she plays a hip city girl in that film.
