The much-awaited sequel film 'Drishya 2' will be releasing theatrically on the 10th of December, 2021. Starring
V. Ravichandran in the role of
Rajendra Ponnappa
, Drishya 2 comes as an official remake of the recent Malayalam hit 'Drishyam 2', which starred Mohanlal.
The recent trailer launch event saw Kichcha Sudeep grace the occasion and extend his support to the team. Director
P. Vasu, who also directed the first installment, was present during the trailer launch along with the principal cast of
Navya Nair, Aarohi Narayan, and Asha Sharath. The film also includes veteran
Tamil
actor Prabhu, Ananth Nag,
Pramod Shetty, and Lasya Nagaraj.
On the other hand, V. Ravichandran is also ready with his period film 'Kannadiga' which has been directed by B. Giriraj. The title track of the film was released very recently which boasts of Shiva Rajkumar's vocals and Ravi Basrur's music. Ravichandran's son, Manoranjan, had his first release post Covid in the form of 'Mugilpete'.
