Upendra’s Kabzaa to start streaming on OTT on this date

Commercial mass entertainer, Kabzaa, which released in theatres just two weeks ago, has already got its OTT release date. The movie will start streaming on OTT on April 14th, according to sources. What comes as a surprise is that the movie will be streaming on OTT even before completion of 30 days of its theatrical release. The movie hit the screens across India on March 17th.

The Upendra-Sudeep-Shivarajkumar starrer opened to mixed reviews at the box-office. Director Chandru and the production team has maintained that the movie crossed 100 crores within 2 days of its Pan-India release. However, there is no official confirmation about the numbers.

According to trade pundits, Kabzaa has managed to do put up a decent show in Kannada, but has failed miserably in other languages. The movie could not even collect Rs 10 crores in other languages (even if put together) in the first week, sources said.

The gangster drama, Kabzaa, has Upendra playing an airforce pilot-turned-crime lord and Shriya Saran, a princess. While the scale of making and performances won accolades, the movie collectively failed to impress the audience.
