Upendra to pump life into ‘jinxed’ Sihi Muthu

It’s been almost five years, since Kannada movie Sihi Muthu was launched. But, the project seems to be jinxed since the beginning, and is taking lot of time to get released. Now, some needed life will be pumped into the film by none-other-than Upendra.
Reports suggest Real star Upendra has done an item song number for the film. Sources say Uppi’s latest move is a last-minute attempt to bail out the movie for his buddy Ashok Kashyap, the director of Sihi Muthu.The song was recently shot at Ramoji Rao Film City in Hyderabad. It’s not often that Upendra does item songs in films. Last time he was featured in an item song was Masth Maja Maadi.
In fact, Uppi cancelled the shooting of his film Brahma, directed by R Chandrau to participate in the Hyderabad shooting schedule. The actor’s gesture was hugely appreciated by the entire team of Sihi Muthu. Now, whether Uppi’s act will be equally acknowledged by the audience is something time will only tell.
