Upendra to play B S Yeddyurappa role on silver screen?

We had earlier reported that a biopic on former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa will go on floors soon, now actor Upendra has been approached to play the role of B S Yeddyurappa.

is likely to produce the movie. He has said that Upendra has been approached to play the role of B S Yeddyurappa. The script has been prepared from one and half years. The title Negilayogi and

Mannina Maga

has been registered with

Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce

. The film traces the struggles of B S Yeddyurappa starting from his childhood days to his Chief Minister days and his contribution to the welfare of farmers.

The movie directed by dialogue writer-turned-director M S Ramesh will also see actors Kumar Bangarappa, Jaggesh, Srinagara Kitty and Shruthi in pivotal roles.
