Amid all the social endeavors, it would seem that
Upendra has snuck in some time to sign a new project. A few online sources have recently suggested that the superstar actor might currently be engaged in discussions with producer-director
Guru Deshpande for an exciting new project. While there is no official confirmation regarding the possibility, the same reports reveal that the project will most likely be bankrolled by Mr.
Deshpande himself under his home banner of G-Cinemas. Fans, nevertheless, will have to wait for things to materialize so as to get any confirmation.
Guru Deshpande is currently in the process of his much-awaited anthology project 'Pentagon' which comprises five different filmmakers and their individual segments in one enthralling package. On the other hand, Upendra has been tirelessly working in support of the many out-of-work film artists and workers along with the many farmers who have been grossly affected by the pandemic. The actor is expected to join the sets of his period flick 'Kabzaa' post the lockdown and also begin work on 'Lagamu' which also stars
Hariprriya. The pair's other project with director
Shashank is on the backburner currently but one can expect work to begin on that at the earliest. More reports to follow soon.
