A year after the success of his Oriyardori Asal, which opened up the Tulu film market, ace writer-director Vijaykumar Kodialbail is back with his next titled Madhime. A family entertainer, the film stars
Likith Shetty and
Ramya Barna in the lead besides starring Sadhu Kokila in a pivotal role. Now news comes in that Vijaykumar is keen on roping in Karavali boy
Upendra for
Madhime.
"I admire Upendra's maverick ways and am keen to associate with him for
Madhime. There's a character in the film who's a Uppi look alike and copies all his mannerisms. I'm hoping to speak to him through my good friend V Manohar and requesting Uppi to lend his distinct voice to this character; it'd be an honour if he agrees," says an earnest Vijaykumar. Will the Real Star comply? Over to Upendra.
