Upendra has an interesting message for all young actors

Actor Upendra is an unconventional entity in the Kannada Film Industry. He holds a distinctive charm for being uncanny, casual, and incredibly straight-forward; all these traits are prominently visible in most of his films. Through his demeanor on and off-screen, he has earned the status of a Real Star in the eyes of Kannada cinema audience.
At a recently organized muhurta event for the film 'Superstar' (actor and nephew Niranjan Sudhindra's launch vehicle), Upendra spoke briefly about Niranjan's hard work in prepping for the role and about the title of the film. A few minutes later, when he was implored by the media to say out a few words of wisdom for all the young actors, Upendra replied in jest: "First thing, senior actors must stop giving advice to youngsters".
"We need to learn from them (young actors). The youngsters think and operate differently and all we can do is share our experiences with them. Young actors sometimes get carried away with notions of knowing everything and being over ambitious.", Upendra added to his funny quip.
On the other hand, film 'Superstar' concerns with the world of dance and the hardships one has to endure to become a superstar. Actor and legendary choreographer Prabhu Deva's father Sundar Master (also a revered choreographer) plays an important part in the film. The film's title song was released on December 4th, 2020.

'Superstar' is being directed by Ramesh Venkatesh Babu with RVB Productions and Mylari Productions partnering to fund the film. The film's production will be resumed shortly after the involuntary Covid-19 break. More updates to follow.
