Upendra 2 postponed

Upendra has postponed all other films to allot dates for Charminardirector R Chandru’s Brahma. Upendra is also said to have postponed his project with Dandupalya director Srinivas Raju, and yet another one with Ramesh Aravind to accommodate this film. While Kannada filmgoers are happy to look forward to anything that Upendra is part of, there have been questions regarding his next directorial venture.The actor-director explains, “We have decided to push my next directorial by a few months as we are taking time on the script. People seem to have assumed that every film that I am seen in is directed by me. The fact that the audience themselves seem to have named this next directorial Upendra 2 gives us an idea of the kind of expectations they have. I don’t want to disappoint them, which is why I am going to be spending more time on the script. The project will take off on my birthday (September 18).”
