Ugravatara shoot nears completion

The shoot of actor Priyanka Upendra starrer Ugravatara is almost in the completion stage. The team is erecting a special set near Nelamangala to shoot the climax action sequences. The project is directed by Gurumurthy.

The movie sees Priyanka Upendra essaying a the role of a cop for the first time. Recently, a scene of a severely injured student passing away in hospital was shot in Bengaluru. Priyanka, as a Police Inspector, collects details on the incident and begins an investigation. Actors Pavithra Lokesh, Shobha, Nataraj and cockroach Sudhir will also be seen in pivotal roles in the movie.

Director Gurumurthy says, "The movie highlights exploitation of women which exists in every sphere of society. In the fight sequence, Priyanka has performed without a double, will certainly impress film lovers. " Priyanka also has 1980, Devaki, Mummy 2 and Life is Beautiful in the pipeline. Most of the films which were supposed to be released have been delayed due to the pandemic. As the shoot of Ugravatara shoot is almost complete, the team is keen to release it in cinema halls early next year.
