‘Udgharsha will intrigue audiences from start to finish’

will release in theatres across the state today and director Sunil Kumar Desai is confident that the film will keep its audiences engrossed throughout. “Udgharsha will be a special experience for Kannada audiences. The movie will keep the audience intrigued from start to finish, as the style of storytelling is enthralling. There is not one dull moment,” shares Sunil. A vital part of suspense thrillers is the screenplay — which, says Sunil, is a big plus in the Thakur Anoop Singh-starrer. “The narrative’s movement between flashbacks and the present, calls for screenplay and camerawork expertise, both of which are Udgharsha’s strong points. The sound design and music help create the needed visual ambience and add to the overall charm of the movie. It is a story that will appeal to audiences — it will be well worth their time and money,” he explains.
Udgharsha, produced by D Creations, will release today in Kannada, Tamil and Malayalam, shares Sunil, adding, “The number of theatres in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala will come up to 400 theatres. The Telugu and Hindi version will release a fortnight and a month later, respectively.”
