Kannada star Yash saw immense success with the 'KGF' franchise released in 2018 and 2022. Since then, the Rocking Star is yet to make his presence on the big screens and is working on the upcoming movie 'Toxic' directed by Geetu Mohandas. The movie has been facing a couple of delays and recent buzz suggests the collaboration might not be sailing smoothly.
Buzz around production troubles
As per a report by Gulte and Track Tollywood, there are reports that suggest that the film's production hasn't been smooth. The speculations also hint that there are some creative differences between Yash and Geetu Mohandas. It is also claimed that the 'KGF' star might be taking over the direction of the remaining portions himself. However, it is imperative to add that no official confirmation of this has been made yet.

These reports also come after the film's schedule underwent multiple reshoots and changes. Originally slated for a summer 2024 release, the makers later pushed it to March 19, 2026. Now, rumours resurface that 'Toxic' could be delayed once again. Interestingly, Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur starrer 'Dacoit' team has already announced March 19, 2026, as their official release date, the same day that was initially blocked for 'Toxic'.
