Tony to be cut by a few minutes

Director Jayatheertha and the team of Tony has come to a decision to trim the Srinagara Kitty-starrer by a few minutes as audiences are complaining that the film is a bit too long.
Tony was released on Friday to packed houses and is said to be the first film starring Kitty to get such a huge opening. Though audiences are appreciative of the fact that this is a unique movie, they find it confusing that four different tracks have been woven together as one.
It is also said that movie-goers have opined that the village backdrop scenes slow down the pace and interfere with the flow of the film. Sources say that these are the reasons that the Tony team is trimming the film. The new (rather, shorter) version of Tony is in theatres today.
