Tollywood director Sukumar to flag off Suraj Gowda’s next

Suraj Gowda’s next will see him back in a commercial space. After his debut in Maduveya Mamatheya Kareyole, Suraj was seen in shades of grey in the critically acclaimed Kahi and Siliconn City. Titled Lakshmi Tanaya, this film new film will be directed by Ramesh Venkatesh Babu. While this is the filmmaker’s first directorial, he has been a part of many films in Telugu and some in Kannada too, both in the writing and directing departments.He considers director Sukumar to be his guru and the Tollywood star filmmaker will even be flying down to do the first clap to flag off the film. “This is a typical commercial entertainer, which will have something for everyone — right from the masses to the classes. What excited me most about the film was the fact that this film gives me a chance to do a little bit of everything, which is what the audience expect to see in a good commercial film,” says Suraj. It will see former pageant winner Hemal Ingle cast alongside him. The film will kickstart this week.
