Playing cop is not new to actor
Tilak Shekar
, only this time around, for his new film
Varnatharanga
, he is set to go undercover. The mystery thriller, directed by Thirthesh K, revolves around a murder case, and is currently under production.
Tilak says, “This is the third time I am playing a cop in my career. This one is different, though, in the sense that he is a diligent officer, determined to crack a hotly-discussed murder case. The subject is quite engrossing and will keep audiences on the edge of the seat.”
After wrapping up the first schedule of Varnatharanga,
Tilak
will start shooting for a
Telugu
project called Following, directed by Radha Krishna. The actor says, “It has a déjà vu kind of concept, which is being tried for the first time in Tollywood. My character has multiple layers and is caught in between the web of dreams and reality. I will be joining the team in Vizag shortly.”
Tilak has also signed another Kannada film called
Abhirami, directed by Sharan. “It is a commercial family entertainer in which I play a spoiled brat who does whatever he wants in life.”
