Tiger's son finally finds his roar
Vinod Prabhakar has had many opportunities to step into the mantle of his late father but none of his earlier films had managed to bring him closer to that dream. Stardom and recognition had eluded him so far. His wait is over and
Vinod plays an aspiring police officer who has to fight the corrupt system. His girlfriend's father turns out to be someone who hates policemen to the core. Thus, it is the perfect platform for the lead pair to love and fight for each other. It also becomes easy to pit the heroine's father against the hero's mother. What else are villains for?
Each predictable problem is created and just as easily dismantled. However, credit should go to Ramnarayan for managing to keep the scenes from looking cliched. There is enough scope for the supporting characters to stand out and add their contribution to the narrative.
Vinod is good as the tough guy in an underdog role. Devoid of unnecessary hero glorification, Vinod has a perfect character to essay. Chikkanna is his perfect foil as the sidekick. Srinivas Murthy and Vinaya Prakash add maturity. There are plenty of baddies around but Arasu stands out. On the technical front, it is the cinematography that grabs one's attention. Spicy dialogue keeps the momentum of the narrative going at a good pace. Tyson may not stand apart as a landmark film in Sandalwood but it will in Vinod's career. The film is sure to establish him as a lead actor to look out for. Check out the Valentine Day 2025 , along with the Valentine’s Day Wishes and Messages.
