The third edition of
Times KAFTA
, presented by Pushkar Films and
Paramvah Studios
with Acme Movies International as the associate sponsor, took place on Sunday. Held at Hyatt Centric, it saw technicians across 17 categories recognised and felicitated by their peers. From veterans to young blood, there were winners galore. While Raajakumara won two awards, what was noteworthy was how 16 different films received recognition in the 17 categories.

Rakshit Shetty, who was present right through the event, said, “I am glad that this platform recognises so many technical categories and that I could be a part of it. I am hoping for a day when every single person behind this team is also recognised and felicitated on a big stage like this.”

Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah reinforced the importance of technicians in a film team, saying, “The writers and technicians are the pillars of a film. They are the ones who are responsible for the making of a good film. It is a delight to be part of an initiative like this.”

Harish Sherigar also expressed his happiness at being a part of this initiative. “I am a relatively newer entrant in the industry.
Kannada films are growing in reach globally, especially in the Middle East, where I live. Initiatives like Times KAFTA ensure that we encourage better filmmaking,” he said. Limelite by Lalit Sanghvi was the event partner.
