Every day, we hear about drugs being seized in some parts of our country, so there seems to be no end to the menace. The only way we can put an end to it is by avoiding it and building a healthy society. Bheema is someone who tries his best to serve youngsters and parents,” Vijay tells us.

With Bheema being his second directorial project, the actor adds, “The joy I found in direction is I can narrate the stories that resonate with me. If I am an actor, my role is limited, but direction stays with me even when I get back home. I need to monitor the entire team throughout a project, so I enjoy it.”
He also tells us about his love for subjects which have raw and realistic factors. “Even Bheema is based on real-life incidents. I believe we have our own stories to tell. With a touch of nativity, they will connect well with the audiences,” adds Vijay. “Bheema is someone every house needs to protect their family, I have also beefed up for the role. I hope it sends out a message to today’s youngsters to be fit and healthy,” says Vijay.
