Sudeep turns poster boy for Japanese chewing gum brand?

It seems island nation, Japan, has taken a fancy to Kannada superstar Kiccha Sudeep. Otherwise, why a popular Japanese chewing gum brand is using Sudeep’s picture in its wrappers? In fact, the matter was discovered by the actor himself, who has posted the picture of the chewing gum wrappers on his Twitter page.
“Chewing gum wrappers at japan carrying my pics...feeln soo honored rite now..tnx soo mch ppl..really really honored,” tweeted Sudeep.
We don’t know, whether the chewing gum manufacturing company has taken prior permission from Sudeep to use his picture or not. But few years back a major controversy erupted when footballer John Terry found out that his picture was used on packets of Indian cigarettes.
