Actress Tejaswini Prakash and her husband Phani Varma are all set to welcome their first born. “I have always wanted to have a baby. Even back in school, I never spoke of getting married, but would often tell my friends and family, that I want a baby. I’ve always loved kids and like being around them. They make me extremely happy and that’s probably why when my maama had children, I was the one who would always be around them. The maternal instinct has been extremely strong in me since childhood…I guess I was preparing for this moment,” says Tejaswini.
The actress who has been part of both celluloid and the small screen, is now soaking in domestic bliss. “Both my husband and I are single kids, and both sides of our family are elated. My husband has never been around children and he is most excited about our new phase of life,” shares Tejaswini.
While Tejaswini comes from Mangaluru, while her husband hails from Andhra. "We hope to blend our cultures for the benifit of our child. “I live with my in laws , but now that I’m in the final phase of pregnancy and due soon, I’ve come to my mother’s home. It’s a divine blessing that we got to know I’m expecting on our first anniversary. Now all that we are looking forward to is a healthy child,” she signs off.
