' is commemorating the National Youth Day today. Many would already be aware that the theme of "youth" features prominently in the film and today's occasion, seemingly so, stands to be an important event for the makers. Along with

'Yuvarathnaa' will be releasing in cinema halls across the state and other parts of the country on the 1st of April, 2021. The news of its theatrical release came as a huge respite for all the fans who were led to believe that the film could find a direct OTT release, considering all the prevailing issues with the

theatre owners

and government guidelines.

- was released a few weeks ago to great praise and appreciation. The video song has managed to garner almost 5 million views since its release and even kicked off a 'Power of Youth' dance challenge wherein many young fans from across the country shared their versions of the song.

'Yuvarathnaa' also stars actors

, Sonu Gowda, and Prakash Raj. The film has been written and directed by Puneeth Rajkumar close associate Santhosh Ananddram. Popular Telugu music composer S. Thaman comes in to lend his tunes to the film's soundtrack.
