Filmmaker Vijaya Prasad's new film '

Petromax

' has hit the strides again. As reported recently by ETimes, the film's entire team was geared up to begin the second and final schedules of production in Mysuru and the latest reports now reveal that the shooting finally began yesterday (December 10th, 2020). Director Vijaya Prasad, actors Sathish Ninansam and

Hari Prriya

were present amid the press to make the announcement.

'Petromax' is a comedy-drama about four orphans played by Sathish Ninasam, Arun, Nagabhushan, and Hema Dutt. The film's first-half has already been shot in the month of October during the Dasara celebrations and it would seem that the second and final schedules too will be wrapped at the earliest. Similar to all the previous Vijaya Prasad films, 'Petromax' too has comedy at the center of it but also concerns with themes of friendship and human values.

Alongside, Vijaya Prasad is collaborating with his 'Neer Dose' actor Jaggesh for the second time in an upcoming film titled '

Totapuri

'. Being conceived in two parts, 'Totapuri' is a comedy-entertainer about a farmer who is Lord Raghavendra's devotee. Jaggesh too is juggling between 'Totapuri' and Guruprasad's '

Ranganayaka

' which shall be underway in less than a month.
