Team Devil heads to Udaipur for the next shooting schedule
After an eventful and much-hyped schedule in Mysuru, the team of Darshan’s upcoming film, Devil, has now set off for Udaipur, Rajasthan, for the next leg of filming.
“We have chosen a premium, never-before-seen location for this schedule, and we’re thrilled that Devil will be the first film to showcase it on screen,” shares a source from the production team.
The Udaipur schedule will feature leading man Darshan, along with Rachana Rai, Sharmiela Mandre, Achyut Kumar, and Mahesh Manjrekar, as they bring some of the film’s most crucial scenes to life in the breathtaking “City of Lakes.”
While song-and-dance sequences are a staple in big-budget films, this schedule will focus solely on action and drama, keeping in mind Darshan’s health condition. “Since he’s already dealing with back pain, we don’t want to put additional strain on him. The song sequences will be shot post-April, once he has fully recovered,” confirms an insider.
Meanwhile, the Mysuru schedule was nothing short of a spectacle, attracting massive crowds of Darshan’s fans. Director Prakash Veer and his team had a challenging time ensuring that details of the film remained under wraps. “At the end of the day, we are making this film for the fans, and we want to keep the surprises intact until the big reveal. That’s why we are taking every precaution on set,” adds the source.
