Team Bhinna wraps up shoot in just 23 days

In just 23 days, all while working only five days a week, Adarsh H Eshwarappa and his team have wrapped up the shoot of his second film, Bhinna. And the director says that everything went as per schedule, even though they had some challenges while tackling erratic showers in Chikmagalur.

Of the 23 days, the team pulled 19 all-nighters, shooting between 5 pm and 6 am in Bengaluru. “But our schedule was different from regular practice. We worked five-day weeks, with Saturday and Sunday off. While people may think that this would have resulted in loss of time, it actually helped the cast (comprising Shashank Purushotham, Sowmya Jaganmurthy, Paayal Radhakrishna and Sidhaartha Maadhyamika) and crew be more efficient,” says Adarsh.

The filmmaker adds that it was a smooth shoot, since they had planned everything in advance. “During the Bengaluru schedule, we ensured that the entire cast and crew lived not more than 10 minutes away from the location. The only challenge was the sync sound, and the rains during the three-day shoot in Chikmagalur. It would rain for 10 minutes, then hold for 10 minutes, and begin raining all over again. So, we would keep all the equipment ready, and the moment it would stop raining, we would shoot, and run for cover when it began raining again,” Adarsh adds.
