The Dhananjaya and Irra Mor-starrer Bhairava Geetha will release in four languages — Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam — but the film was shot in Kannada and Telugu. Portions of the film were canned at scenic locations in

North Karnataka

, namely, Badami, and surrounding areas. “For one action sequence, we shot extensively in and around

Badami

for four days. One song that features Dhananjaya and Irra Mor was shot at the Mahakuteshwara Temple in Badami and at the villages nearby. We have shown the water bodies, bridges, village sceneries, as well as the sunflower fields in that area. What I was really fascinated by were the temples. There are out of the world,” says director Siddhartha Thatholu.

During the schedule, the team got to savour several North Karnataka delicacies. “We ate at a roadside food stall near the

Pattadakal

temples. The food there was so good that I went there over and over again. I found the spread — roti, rice and pickle, among other things, all without oil — very interesting. I loved it,” Siddhartha signs off.
