Suraj Gowda's next unfolds over one night

, has signed his next. This film, titled

Pradesha Samachara

, will be helmed by debutant Arjun AR, who has assisted in many films, including

Topiwala

. 'While it also is a romantic love story, I do not play a chocolate-boy in this movie. In fact, the novelty of this film is that it unfolds over one night, in the backdrop of our Independence Day. It will have a very realistic approach and a thriller twist to it,' says Suraj, who has been paired opposite Akanksha of RX Soori fame. 'The film will also have me in a school-boy avatar, as well as a look set in 1947. I am really excited, because the story offers me immense scope to do more than just be a romantic hero,' adds Suraj. The film will have music by Raghu Dixit and is set to roll shortly.
