Suni and Diganth team up for a rom-com

Even before Katheyondu Shuruvagide releases this Friday, Diganth and filmmaker Pushkara Mallikarjunaiah are all set to collaborate on another project. Diganth has been roped in to star in a rom-com that will be directed by Suni, which is slated to go on floors in either November or December.
Pushkar tells us that Suni and he have wanted to make a movie together for a few years and were waiting for a good script to come along.“Somehow, things didn’t materialise, till now. Everything has fallen into place and we are happy to finally do a movie together,” he says.
Diganth is super excited about the film and tells us that he is going to stick to doing rom-coms for now. “People seem to like watching me in rom-coms, as opposed to films like Sharpshooter. I think I will stick to this genre for a while. Pushkar has an amazing team and I had a wonderful experience working with him in Katheyondu Shuruvagide. Suni is a successful director, with several hits to his credit. So, I am super excited for this film,” says Diganth.
Suni tells us that the film will have a Mungaru Male essence to it. “It will capture the greenery of Malnad, and will be a good mix of comedy and emotions,” says Suni, adding that shoot will begin in winter.
