‘Sudeep’s Bhargava Bakshi is the diamond in Kabzaa's crown’

Period underworld flick Kabzaa, which sees R Chandru and Upendra unite, is one of the most eagerly awaited films. What makes is even more special is the addition of Kichcha Sudeep to this multilingual pan Indian film.
"We began work with Sudeep sir by completing shooting for an important scene in Bengaluru. We will next shoot in Hyderabad with him. These will also feature his scenes with Upendra sir.We are all thrilled with the scenes," reveals Chandru.
"Sudeep plays Bhargava Bakshi in the film. His character will be a treat for everyone. If we consider Kabzaa to be the crown, then Sudeep sir's character is the diamond that enhances the film," he shares.
The team has ensured that Bhargava Bakshi’s look was perfect. "The look has been carefully crafted after a lot of discussions with Sudeep sir. There will be two shades to the character and since the film is set in a different time period and is completely retro, he roped in his designer from Hyderabad to get the look right. Sudeep sir took personal interest in this," adds Chandru.
One of the biggest questions plaguing fans is when the film will release. "Kabzaa will release sometime next summer. We are looking at releasing the film after a couple of weeks of the release of KGF: Chapter 2. What makes our film unique is that it will release simultaneously in seven languages, which is a first. Usually, we see films releasing in the four major South Indian languages and Hindi. We are going to have Kabzaa releasing in Odiya and Bengali too," answers Chandru.
