Vishnuvardhan's name is coming up for all the wrong reasons these days. Days after a public furore over unsavoury comments made by Telugu actor Vijay Rangaraju about Vishnuvardhan, it now turns out that a bunch of
miscreants
have vandalised the late actor's statue. On Sunday, news broke that the
statue
near Magadi road had been vandalised, sparking on ground and online protests by fans and
Kannada
actors condemning the incident.
In a video shared on social media,
Kichcha Sudeep
says, “If miscreants who have destroyed the statue are caught by his fans they won’t be spared. I don’t want to know the motive behind demolishing the statue, but one thing I can assure that they will be thrashed by fans in ways they can’t even imagine in their wildest of dreams.”
It is to be noted that Sudeep was at the forefront demanding an apology from
Vijaya Rangaraju
for his unsavoury remarks against Vishnuvardhan in a video.
