Sudeep-Ravichandran to start shoot on August 25

Will producer MN Kumar succeed in bringing back multi-starrers in the Kannada film industry? Only time will tell; but Sandalwood fans won’t have to wait too long to watch superstars Kiccha Sudeep and Crazy Star Ravinchandran together in a film.
A pooja to mark the launch of their film was held earlier this week, sans any fanfare. The movie is an adaptation of the Telugu film Mirchi, and the makers, who have refused to reveal anything so far, have said only that the script has been modified to suit a multi-star cast.
Sudeep confirmed that the pooja had taken place, but when prodded, refused to divulge any more information. Sources have said, however, that the makers of the yet-to-be-titled film are likely to make an official announcement soon.
Directed by Sudeep, the film also stars Ramya Krishnan and newbie Ranya, apart from Ravichandran. The shooting for the first schedule is slated to begin on August 25.
