Veerabhadreshwara theatre, which has stood strong for the last two decades, recently underwent renovation much to the joy of its loyal audience. The theatre, having screened mostly Kannada films since the beginning, was inaugurated by
Eega star Kiccha Sudeep.
Redesigned and developed to suit the needs of people, the first movie to be screened at the theatre was the most awaited Sudeep starrer,
Bachchan.
The actor, who graced the occasion as chief guest snipped the pink ribbon across the entrance marking a new start for the theatre.
Distributor M N Kumar and producer Soorappa Babu were present among a host of other guests. Sudeep's
Bachchan despite the festival and the current T-20 cricket series, has received quite a grand opening. Sudeep, who has been appreciated also for his singing in the film, sure knows how to win his fans over.
