Sruthi Hariharan joins the cast of Dhananjaya's Head Bush

Actress Sruthi Hariharan is one of the latest addition to the big cast of

Head Bush

, the biopic of MP Jayaraj that is being frontlined by Dhananjaya. The story has been scripted by Agni Sreedhar, who has been a first hand observer during the heydays of the Bengaluru underworld. The film is being directed by Shoonya, who has previously been a part of

Avane Srimannarayana

. The film is slated to be released as a multiple part film, as per the first launch press meet held by the team.

The team had begun shooting portions of it last year, but the major filming began only recently. The team first announced how Payal Rajput has been roped in as the female lead opposite Dhananjaya. This was followed by the news of Loose Maada Yogi and

Vasishta N Simha

joining the cast. Prakash Belawadi and Balu Nagendra (of

Huliraaya

fame) too are part of the cast. The latest to join them is Sruthi Hariharan.

Sruthi will be playing a pivotal role in the film and we hear she joined the set of the film last month. This will be her third collaboration with Dhananjaya after Rhaate and Happy New Year. Sruthi shares that her role is of a powerful character and she is thrilled to be a part of this team. She also shares that she is glad to be back on a mainstream film set after a long time and is hoping to do more such work.
