Srikanta Wadiyar passes away

Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar, the scion of the Mysore Royal family, has died after suffering a massive heart attack in Bangalore. He was 60 years old. The only son of Maharaja Jayachamarajendra Wodeyar — the last ruling Maharaja of Mysore — Srikantadatta is survived by his wife Maharani Pramoda Devi Avaru. Srikantadatta was a Member of Parliament and was also the captain of the Mysore University cricket team. He was the President of the Karnataka State Cricket Association till November 2010.
