from next month. The team had completed

shooting

for the second schedule in October for which they shot in Mysuru and surrounding areas and it is now being reported that the third schedule will kick in from December 1. According to a report in an English daily, director Mahesh Kumar has planned to

major action sequences for which the team is setting up sets at two places — HMT factory and Minerva Mills.

The film stars Sriimurali and Ashika Ranganath in the lead and also stars Jagapathi Babu in a negative role. South Indian actor Devayani will also be seen in the film as she returns to Kannada cinema after two decades with this film. The action-packed family entertainer has been in the news ever since it was announced. Shooting for the film was pushed due to the Coronavirus lockdown. However, once the restrictions were lifted, the team resumed shooting. The team had shot in Uttar Pradesh just before the lockdown. Meanwhile, Darshan had dropped by the sets in Mysuru and surprised Sriimurali and others with his impromptu visit.

In an earlier interview with us, Sriimurali had said, "Madagaja is shaping up well. This is a very energetic and driven team and it has been wonderful to work with every one of them. We wrapped up some pivotal portions of the film in Mysuru and are looking forward to completing another important schedule this month. I’ve been waiting to do a film like this."
